FAQ

Questions we hear most

/01

Do you handle both commercial and residential roofing?

Yes: both, across Los Angeles and Orange County. Commercial work centers on flat and low-slope systems (cleaning, repairs, leak detection, restoration and replacement); residential covers inspections, repairs and maintenance, and full removal and replacement for all roof types.

/02

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Swell Roofing Inc is licensed, bonded, and insured in California, CSLB #1090502. You can verify any California contractor’s license with the CSLB.

/03

What areas do you serve?

We serve Los Angeles County and Orange County, including: Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill, San Pedro, Torrance, Downey, Carson, Cerritos, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Westminster, Garden Grove, Anaheim, Irvine, and Costa Mesa.

/04

How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?

Isolated damage on a roof with life left in it usually means repair. Widespread wear, repeated leaks, or a roof at the end of its material’s lifespan usually means replacement. We’ll give you an honest read either way; if a repair will do, that’s what we’ll recommend.

/05

What are the warning signs of a roof problem?

Water stains on ceilings or walls, missing or curling shingles, granules collecting in gutters, and daylight or musty smells in the attic. Any one of them is worth a look before the rainy season.

/06

How often should my roof be inspected?

Once a year is a good rhythm for most Southern California roofs, plus a check after any major storm and before buying or selling a home. Older roofs (15+ years) deserve closer attention.

/07

How long does a roof replacement take?

It depends on the size and complexity of your roof, but most residential replacements take a few days once work begins. You’ll get a clear timeline with your quote, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.

/08

How do I get a quote?

Send us your details through the quote form or call. We’ll assess your roof and come back with a clear, line-item quote: no pressure, no obligation.
